As we approach the Super Moon coming this Tuesday, February 19th, I have a very important question to ask you...
What inspires you about the global events in our world right now?
It’s a tough question, right? I mean, so many things are falling apart, and we are seeing how the systems & structures currently in place (government, economy, education, and more) are crumbling.
But here’s what I really think:
We are living in an absolutely incredible time to be alive.
AND it’s also an amazing time to be a woman, in this world of ours, right now.
Why?
Well … Let me give you an analogy. When a fire burns down an old, decrepit building, and all that’s left is a field of ashes, the next question in your mind is… “What’s going to rise in its place?”
My dear sister … WE are that fire.
WE are the feminine fire that is burning down all the structures, systems, and prejudices that no longer serve humanity.
WE are the force that is going to rise & build up
something new and better.
WE are the future.
WE have the power to create massive societal,
political, and economic change.
And it’s already happening.
Sure, the old systems aren’t totally gone yet…. They’re struggling for their existence as long as they can …
But, as William Gibson wrote, “The future is already here--it’s just not very evenly distributed.”
YOU are here to help build that new future.
But there is something you need to know.
WE, as women with the power to activate huge changes in our world, can’t build the new future if we’re still hiding … still playing small … still trying to stay in our familiar comfort zones.
No.
We need to come out of the closet, shake off any old doubts about what we’re truly capable of, and leap fearlessly into action.
So that our voices can roar collectively.
Because when we do that, the forces struggling to keep the patriarchy alive will know what they’re up against.
