Last night, I woke up after midnight thinking the holiday lights were still on by the front door. The lights were off, but the full moon’s light was ON, full and bright and jarring me awake so I could make time to consider…
… which areas of my life need a wake up call and are in need of illumination?
...where in my life am I settling and tolerating, instead of upgrading?
…how are we upgrading as a society and what still needs to be done?
Bumps and glitches are part of the upgrade process. We have to let go of the old and get used to what’s new.
I feel this in our culture as I see and honor women who are speaking out about sexual abuse as a new culture of zero tolerance is being built.
I feel it in the vulnerability of women as they share their #metoo stories in order to raise our collective consciousness and create a world where women can feel safe and respected.
I feel it in my own life as I take more steps toward raising my own visibility, come out of hiding and speak what’s true for me.
All of this feels like...an upgrade in feminine courage.
And it’s glitchy.
Imperfect.
Awkward.
Until it’s not anymore.
Until it finally just become a part of who I am, who you are and who we are.
So on this full moon I’m celebrating this personal and collective "upgrade in courage" that's awakening women all over the world to discover their purpose and claim their desires!
